One of the cooler things I saw when visiting Fort Worth, Texas for a conference was the Flatiron Building located at the corner of Houston and West 9th Street downtown near the convention center. As we walked each day from our hotel to the main event location we had to pass by the building. But it wasn’t just the unique narrow design of the building and original architecture and details that caught my eye.
On the side of the building there is a full size three dimensional bronze mural designed to replicate the iconic “Wild Bunch” photograph with Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. We walked by this life size mural multiple times during the week and it was hard not to stop each time. You can learn more about this unique sculpture in this story from the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
